How to get good grades
"I got into a top graduate school and got a fellowship, not to mention graduating with a bunch of honors -- seeing as I got a C and a B- my freshman year, it was a huge deal for me to pull my GPA up to what it was when I graduated (3.75)."
How I did it: I took classes that interested me and learned how to study efficiently. Instead of wasting my time trying to memorize things I wasn't interested in, I took classes I knew I'd be invested in and therefore genuinely wanted to learn the material.
Lessons & tips: Pursue what interests you, not what you think you should/have to do!
