How to fall in love with myself

How I did it: I initially have attended counselling, because I felt my emotions were out of control, but I was taught to accept every emotion I have and that it is OK to feel certain ways at certain times..
Most of my life I have no felt important enough to have a valued opinion, or voice my emotions.
Still learning to control outbursts of upsetting emotion.I have learn't that I am allowed to have feelings and no matter what I feel it is OK.
It would have been good to have someone who can support your emotions, rather than tell you, your feeling are wrong..
