How to maintain my 4.0
"I worked my ass off for three years, sacrificing many evenings and weekends to studies and papers and it was exhausting but exhilarating to graduate with honors!"
How I did it: I set mini-goals. One semester at a time, one course at a time, one assignment at a time, one week at a time. Interestingly enough, as I got closer to finishing, my GPA became less important to me. That didn't make the work any easier but I did relax more in doing it. Still, it IS a lot of work. The most important thing that you can do is to be organized and pay attention to when your work is due.
Lessons & tips:
- Be organized
- Be prepared to be tired
- Work on one project at a time
- Take breaks
- Never give up!
- Pay attention to deadlines
