How to make a collage
How I did it: I have always wanted to make a collage out of magazine/newspaper snippits. So I had been collecting words and cool pictures from magazines, etc. A good place to get free magazines with nice backgrounds are from H&M. I really liked the outcome, although for its size, I was disappointed at how long it took me to make it (almost 3 hours!!).
Lessons & tips: Packing tape is "staticky," so be aware. The clippings tend to attach to the tape to places you don't want. The best thing to do, is to glue the clippings to your base and then use the packing tape to seal it up. But I didn't use glue, and I liked the finished product nevertheless.
