How to carry my camera with me everywhere (Just in case. You never know when you'll stumble across a good photo moment)
How I did it: For a while, I had a Canon Rebel EOS, which was not convienient to carry around and was too expensive to risk losing - plus it was my parents' and not mine. I bought a small Panasonic point-and-shoot of my own, and volia! I carry it with me everywhere - it's nice to have, especially when one of your friends is being crazy or your mom wants to see a $200 prom dress before you buy it.
Lessons & tips: Buy a small camera that you can stash somewhere (in your purse or in your pocket). Don't just rely on a camera phone - the pictures are not even half as good as a real camera. Make sure the camera is nice, but not so expensive that you would be devestated if you lost it.
Resources: Panasonic, Nikon, and Canon all make nice little cameras, and Best Buy is always running a sale on some of them.
