How to own a cat

How I did it: I went to pet helpers and adopted a kitten. It was a disaster. Pet helpers is horrible and I got harrassed for my age, etc. The cat was evil, but I fell in love with him. He terrorized everything and attacked me and my guests all the time. Then, I had to leave my apartment and move where there are no pets allowed and they made me feel like a criminal animal abuser for returning him. It wasn't good. I don't think I want a cat again.
Lessons & tips: Don't do it unless you are sure you love cats and don't go to pet helpers or a place that makes you sign contracts, pay, and has ridiculous rules. If you love cats, do it and you'll be happy.
