How I did it: I researched the place.
I got it cleared with my doctor.
I called some friends.
We made a reservation.
We drove 2 hours out to Long Island.
We signed an insane release form.
We watched a short video.
We waited,
and waited,
and waited.
We got suited up in a harness.
We waited.
The place arrived.
We got aboard it.
We flew up 1350 feet in a tiny plane.
We got strapped to an instructor.
We jumped out the open door.
I screamed.
I fell thousands of feet.
The instructor opened the parachute.
We cruised in the sky.
We landed smiling.
Lessons & tips: do your research, go to a reputable place. bring a ton of friends. spend the extra money and get the dvd and photos.
