How to get a pet rat
How I did it: I wanted a pet rat for a long time, did my research, and begged my parents for a long time. This was back when I was in highschool, and we reached an agreement. I was having trouble in my honors algebra class, and getting a "D". They told me that if I got a "C" for the semester, I could get my rat. It was almost the end of the semester and came down to the grade I got on the final. I made the grade of a "C" for the semester by literally a couple questions on the final!! I was amazed! The day report cards came, I went to the store to get my little baby. Having a rat is so fun, there's no pet like em.
Lessons & tips: Make sure you research how to take care of them properly first, and of course make sure you have the time to devote to them. They love and need a lot of interaction and excercise.
