How to take a painting class

"I took a Bob Ross technique class at Hobby Lobby; it was really worthwhile."
How I did it: I just signed up for the class and took it. That is really all there is to it. Had to spend 6 hours in an art classroom on a Saturday, which I did not like, but the information and learning was very good. And I got an ok painting out of it. It's not my favorite, but I did learn some really great things.
