How to lose 50 pounds
How I did it: By eating less, and being more careful about what I ate when I did. This consisted mostly of two things: cutting out non-meal snacks almost completely, and cutting down portions when I did eat. It's a bit painful when you start, but if you stick to it hard it gets easier. Mostly I've been having a light breakfast and lunch, with a larger dinner - makes it a bit easier for me.
Resources: The Hacker's Diet was the biggest help to me. I didn't 'follow' it or really even consult it much (apart from the exercise program, which I plan to continue), just read it all and decided to stick to its essentials.
