How I did it: I am in the US Navy, stationed on a submarine in San Diego, CA. I rode a submarine to the North Pole, in winter. Overall, a fairly difficult, but wholly interesting adventure. I would suggest that anyone who wants to do this should find ANY OTHER WAY to go there.
