How to hitch hike

How I did it: My bike broke down on a trip, so I didn't have a choice. Simply stuck out my thumb. Had to wait a while but covered 150km in 5 hours. It was difficult due to being with my bike, but I found enough people with trucks.
Lessons & tips: Pick a place where it is easy for vehicles to pull over, but they can also see you in advance.
