How to dye my hair black
How I did it: I wanted to have black hair a few years ago, I had always dyed my hair so I went for it. I kept it black (and kept redoing it) for around 6 months. I'm sure you all know how to dye hair so I won't get into that but when I tried to dye it a different color (or do red streaks with the black) nothing would take. I ended up having my mom bleach it 3-5 times to get it to a yucky brown color. It was awful and I started getting big clumps breaking and falling out mid shaft. We then dyed it to a slightly better brown color and just deep conditioned like crazy to get it looking nice again. It looked okay within a month or two, but I definitely recommend you see a hair stylist when you want a different color!
Lessons & tips: See a hairdresser to switch to a different color after you're through with the black
Deep conditioners should be used often but not to often as that is worse then not using (twice a week max)
