Rosetta Stone...

If you can’t afford the CDs take out the monthly online version subscription for one month… it’s good value for an individual.

Professor_M Today, i'm off, i have kept my day for rest and languages improving

It's not that difficult

I have started learning German only few months ago but i have made good progress. Let me say that the most important thing is the strong reasons to make you learn German. As long as you can be realstic with your reasons, beleive me no thing will hinder you even if looked difficult but that only happened at the begging with alot of challanges and excitment and along with the hardworing, no thing us going to say that’s hard.. Just be optimstic and always up.. Go ahead and look forward your goals… Believe me it only will not take more than one year,,, And you know how to creat new ideas to learn fast… Good Luck

Thanks, is English a second language of yours? I had a hard time understanding some of your grammar.

Lysine is not as stressed out about moving across the state as she should be

I used Rosetta Stone for a bit and it was fairly good, but in my opinion not worth the money…. I recommend LiveMocha.com, it’s like Rosetta Stone but even better in my opinion, and it’s free and gives you the opportunity to talk to other people learning the language or experienced speakers, and get tips and critiques on your grammar, spelling, and pronunciation. I really recommend it.

Cool, I’ll check it out!

I purchased Rosetta Stone a year ago; it’s gotten us further in 1 year than 4 years living near a US Army base in Germany (everyone speaks English)! I highly recommend it. If the cost is too steep for you right now, see if your local library carries it.

Also, get your hands on childrens books in German, especially the fairy tales. You most likely already know the stories, so it’s easy to decipher the German words while learning the grammar. Childrens picture books are also good for this…learn like the kids do.

My final suggestion is to post signs in German throughout your home &/or workplace for commonplace items or activities.
