How to finish college
How I did it: I planned ahead in high school. I was lucky enough to have the upward bound program at my disposal as well as some awesome guidance counselors. I read TONS of information about student loans and financial aid. Even if your parents are paying your way or you don't qualify for federal student loans, educate yourself about financial aid and learn as much as you can.
Sticking with school and finishing were mostly a matter of perseverance and always keeping focused on the finish line. I had a mantra always of "just 3 more years" or "3 more semesters" etc.
Lessons & tips: get involved on campus in some way whether it be in your dorm or some on campus organization. also, it's EXTREMELY important to get involved in your major's department. making connections with your professors and administrators will create an invaluable network upon graduation
