How to visit the Grand Canyon
It made me
humble 
"Everyone who lives in the U.S. should visit at least once in their lifetime, words cannot describe how awesome it is."
How I did it: While on a business trip to Phoenix, a group of cor-workers were taking a day trip to the Grand Canyon during one of our off days. I had planned to go to a museum and was inviting this co-worker when she told me what she and the others were going to do. I could not let this opportunity pass up, who knows if i'd ever make it this way again. I was so glad i went. It is more beautiful and breathtaking than one can imagine. We made several stops along the canyon edge and each one was magnificent!
Lessons & tips: We went in January so it was a little chilly, but there were not many crowds so we were able to walk and drive around with ease. take bottled water and snacks. There is a great indian trading post (Cameron Trading Post)before you get there that has the best souvenirs, the ones at the shops at the grand canyon are pricier and not as interesting.
