How to get a masters degree
"It was a marvelous journey."
How I did it: It took me 4 years to complete my Master's because I did it one class at a time. It was really hard sometimes because I was teaching full time and I had a baby about 2 years into it and then became a single parent 3 years into it. However, I had a wonderful support system. There were a group of us going through the classes together and that really helped.
Lessons & tips: Find a support system. It can people you go to class with or colleagues or family. Find someone you can talk to about what you're learning and how you can implement it into your life.
Resources: My colleagues I was going through school with were a great resource. So was a guide to writing APA style as that is the style I had to write my papers.
