How I did it: I've been wanting my own laptop for quite a while, but when it came time for me to move to a new town but continue working from home for the same organization and that I would be reimbursed over 3 years for the cost of using my own computer, it was obvious that the opportunity to buy a good laptop was upon me. I settled on a used MacBook Pro and have been very satisfied.
