How to get a work-study job

How I did it: I went to the financial aid office at my school, and told them that I had been looking for a workstudy position and they sent me to the career center. There, I asked for the senior secretary and she had a whole list of employers looking for students! I now work as a teacher's assistant at an elementary school across the street!
Lessons & tips: Use this line: "may I please speak to your supervisor" and do not listen to the front desk people, they often can't help you but they know who can.
