How I did it: I finally just took them up again and finished them off. It was easy once I re-started working on them. They look really nice and have even gotten a good review from somebody on Ravelry. I will try not to let this kind of thing happen again with another project. I still have the Bohus sweater to do which is another long, long unfinished object. I hope I will be disciplined enough to take that up this fall..
