How to keep breastfeeding

How I did it:
- nurses taught me in the hospital how to hold baby and about latching on
- i learned about the valuable benefits my baby would have
- i learned about nursing often to prevent engorging and how to handle going back to work
- i gave myself lots of patience and was thrilled the first time he nursed.
I nursed him for about a year and a half and he was not trilled when I weaned him.
Lessons & tips: have patience, be sure to nurse, so you don't engorge, have patience when weaning...it took me a while and my son was mad!
it is also a great way to lose weight and eat heartier
