How to get a job that allows me to express who I really am. by siquecountry

"I started teaching people to write, one on one. It is the best job I have ever had...."

How I did it: I left my job at Apple and went to grad school for technical communication. I walked into the Writing Center of the university where  I go to grad school and asked for a job. I started to work with students and I was hooked.

Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to leave the secure job. I was working at Apple and it was a secure job. But I was miserable.
