How to create my own website

How I did it: Well, I had no idea were to start so I started to ask around. I know a couple of people in the biz and they pointed me into the right direction. I don't have alot of money and I don't know how to build websites so they refered me to Joomla.
Lessons & tips: You must have alot of determination and patience to make this happen. It is not an overnight thing...
Resources: Well, I don't have alot of money and I don't know how to build websites so I used Joomla - an opensource community. Try it, it's free. Joomla is like a shell it hold all of your sites components and modules. Almost all of joomla's components and modules are FREE!
