How to own a house
"do a lot of online research and interview every single person you get your hands on."
How I did it: I flew in to town and stayed in a hotel for a week. The Realtor took us around until i fell in love. We followed the paperwork after that. I did mine long distance and it was new construction, so I didnt have to fight with the sellers, just the builders. But remember to stick up for yourself. Home buying is a lot of money and money means a business deal and professionalism.
If money is being exchanged, you deserve to be heard.
Lessons & tips: - do your research (constantly)
- if someone says a term, ask them what it means or look it up on your own
- have realistic expectations
