How to take dance lessons

How I did it: I have been wanting to take ballroom dance lessons for a long time now (the latin dances just look so sexy) and I googled for places offering lessons in my area. I signed up for a 3-week long Tango class and after that I'll be doing Viennese Waltz and Rumba!
It wasn't too expensive - $39 for 3 1.5 hour long lessons and the classes are fairly small so there's a lot of individual attention.
I wanted to be totally committed so I even bought a pair of ballroom dance shoes (not cheap - they were beautiful though) but you don't have to.
Lessons & tips: Find a place in your area and just do it! Just sign up for the class that looks like you'd enjoy it the most (you can youtube videos of different styles of ballroom dance to see what would work best for you) and give it a try. If nothing else you'll meet some new people and get out of the house for a few nights. :)
