How to do the secret thing really well!
"Fun!"
How I did it: I went to Johanna's and we made the batter. I made mine pink and Jo made her's plain. Then we put blobs of each into a square tin and a round tin, and mixed them a bit with a cocktail stick. Then we baked it, and once it was cool, we covered it in fondant icing (using Jam to stick it on) and decorated it with writing icing and sweeties.
Lessons & tips: Use a cocktail stick to mix the two colours together so that it goes marbled.
Make sure you put plenty of icing sugar on the worktop before trying to roll out the icing or it'll stick.
Use another cocktail stick to peirce the cake when you think it's ready, and if it comes out clean, it is ready.
