How to go to my high school reunion
"It was like traveling through a time warp...unreal and wonderful."
How I did it: Started getting back in touch with former classmates about a year before the reunion. Used my saved up frequent flyer miles to fly to Indianapolis, then rented a car and drove to South Bend, Indiana.
A slide show of a few pix I took is HERE ON FLICKR.
Lessons & tips: Remember that everyone else is just as nervous as you are about getting back together after 40 years apart. Once the ice is broken, the memories come flooding back. You may find yourself marveling at how similar your pathes have been or reveling in the differences. It is absolutely NOT anything to be afraid of doing. So go for it!
