How to make sun tea
How I did it: I took a glass pitcher, filled it with water, stuck approximately 10 Lipton tea bags in the water and then put it outside, in the sun, for several hours to brew. After it looked like the tea done brewing, I brought it in and tasted it to make sure that it was strong enough. I wrung out the tea bags, added sugar, chilled the tea and then enjoyed it.
Lessons & tips: Make sure that you use enough tea bags. I can't tell you exactly how many to use for what size pitcher, but if your tea tastes weak, add more bags and put it back in the sun. If it is too strong, add a little more water.
Resources: I used good old city water and Lipton tea bags.
