How to live on my own
How I did it: I had been considering moving for a while and as i said I kind of started looking for apartments to rent.. well I was so scared as it would mean a huge change and I was quite worried about the financial aspect...
I ended finding a place which i liked and had to ring my lanlord and friend to get references.. honestly... that was the toughest part..telling my friend that I wanted to move out..I was feeeling so guilty!! but after I spoke to him and he was ok with that...the rest was quite easy.
I never got the first apartment I saw but it gave me the strenght to continue searching.. and it wasnt the first one but the second place i viewed! if I hadnt hadnt overcome the fear of asking my friedn for the references i would have never continued looking for an apartmetn.. the fact that I didnt get the first apartment was in some way a relief...but when i saw the 2nd place... i knew it was the one i wanted! so i did it i paid the deposit at the viewing and i was moving in the apartmetn 2 weeks later!!
It's incredible to think that fom the moment i really believed that I was going to be living on my own and started viewing places i took only 1 month!.
This happened at the end of March, it's July now and i can say that it was a good move and that i really enjoyo living on my own! i stil miss the guys in the house, which are now good friends of me, but you cant have every thing at the same time, so Im very happy to say that we are very good friends and we live in different houses. there are some momments in live, as this one for me, where you have to move on! :-)
