How I did it: I had professional help combined with medicine for years...I found the medicine only made things worse. I took techniques from things I talked to my doctor about, breathing techniques, yoga, and meditation to help calm myself down when I felt an episode beginning. After years of learning to recognize the symptoms, I was able to get them under control without the use of medicine or any outside stimuli.
