How to start exercising
How I did it: There are very many aspects to this
1) self training (tapes, dvd)
2) Join a gym
3) Hire a trainer
My option was 2 and 3, i knew i couldnt do exercise at the beginning on my own i needed an extra push.
so i joined a gym and hired a trainer
The first month i could barely do a fast walk and experienced discomfort on my knees 30 minutes 3 times a day
The second month i took on boxing and kept walking.
8 months later and almost 17 kgs gone, 6 sizes down and my body feels better i dont get the usual knee discomforts from walking or running i used to get before. I cant say i feel fitter i just know i am fitter, i can sprint after the bus, i can run for atleast 10 minutes without feeling a pinch.
I now go to the gym 5 times a week if i can and im adding weight training to it.
The other day my friend and i went swimming and she is about 100 lbs and im 170lbs but she could barely do 1 lap. Being fit is not only for the skinny, Everyone can be fit with a little exercise. Its so worth it. I groan and moan while doing the exercise but it feels damn good right after!
Lessons & tips: Simple get started,
1) walk around your neighborhood for 30 mins
2) Join a gym and use it!
3) Train with a buddy
4) Hire a trainer
