How to get into art school
How I did it: After A Level, I had to complete a 1 year art foundation BTEC course at my local college. I've been told this is has become quite old-fashioned in recent years, and more universities are accepting more people directly from A level. Send off my UCAS form, got an interview, and got accepted with a conditional offer. Yay!
Lessons & tips: You can never take too much work with you to the interview, unless they directly state otherwise. Make sure that you can talk about it all and make sense of your thought processes - even if the work isn't very relevant/skillfully created, they like it when you can talk about it and relate it to other artists' work and your own ideas.
