How to make the perfect mix tape

How I did it: First, I made one big playlist, with all the songs I could possibly have wanted to
listen to. To do this, I went through iTunes and dragged any songs I wanted into a playlist. My mix was for a five hour roadtrip, so I called it "The Open Road."
From there, make sub-playlists and sort your music into these. Easy categories are "Moody Music," "Party Car," "Girls Only," "Heavy Metal," "Night Driving," and so on.
This way, instead of one totally jumbled mix tape, you've now got a few themed ones!
