How I did it: Hey everyone I just want to say thank you all for typing all of your name change stories and  "how i did it" stories. This really gave me a big boost to do something that I've been wanting and actually needing to do for a while. I feel like this was my real name all along. I am very glad that I changed my name. I just got my Certified true copy from the County Clerk of Court of the judgment of my name change. Now I have to go get more copies to change my license, ssn, etc.

Lessons & tips: It seems like it takes forever but be patient. You will be happy with your new name sooner than you know.
