How to cook 43 things
"After a concerted effort, I find that I'd still really rather not cook."
How I did it: Pulled recipes from magazines, saved them from the CSA newsletter, and tried to make things that sounded good.
I tried to find bliss in cooking, I really did! And I do still really enjoy baking but day to day food just takes too long and is too much drudgery for me - much lik I think many people feel about cleaning.
I have found some things I like to make, but really, if I had to cook most nights, we'd be eating rice-a-roni and broccoli an awful lot.
Lessons & tips: If you refrigerate an onion before you cook it for several hours, it will make you cry hardly at all... if you cut quickly.
Mustard greens are very good boiled. Not so good steamed.
