How to be a vegetarian for a week
How I did it: I loved eating vegetarian! I tried new things like hummus and eggplant, two things I have never tried! I felt better and was happy with my accomplishments. I didn't eat any McDonald's during this week either (I work next to a McD's, so it is the easiest, cheapest thing to eat at work) and then I had some fries yesterday and felt awful! Once you start treating your body good, I think it may be difficult to go back.
I had a chicken taco this morning and really hadn't missed it... I am willing to keep this up, with the occasional meat. AND now my boyfriend is interested in trying this as well! :]
Lessons & tips: Try new things. Eggplant did not seem appealing at all, but my friend convinced me to try it and I really enjoyed it!
Try doing it with someone and compare results.
If you are making yourself miserable, then stop. Lessen meat intake, don't completely get rid of it.
