How to pierce my lip
It made me
feel different 
"boom, and the needle went in."
How I did it: I bought a piercing online from titanium only. The day before, my friend had attempted to pierce it with me using a safety pin, then a thumbtack. Sadly that didn't work out very well. Well anyhoo, I received the piercing needle in the mail and proceeded to pierce my lip. Note that I had one friend on the phone and I was webcamming with another because they wanted to see it so bad. I poured alcohol into a bowl and then let the lip stud soak in there. I marked my lip, cleaned the inside as well as the outside of my lip with alcohol before piercing. I also had tons of hand sanitizer and paper towels everywhere. The first attempt, it wasn't at the place i wanted and i accidently hit a blood vessel. I waited 20 minutes till redoing it again. This time, I didn't hit a blood vessel and I got it in the spot I wanted! I left the needle in for awhile and then inserted my larbet. :) I got lots of compliments on it.
Lessons & tips: RESEARCH FIRST. Know what you're getting into. You are prone to infection, dadadada and all that stuff. I did lots of research before I did my lip.
