How to get a monroe piercing

How I did it: tI actually went to the tattoo/piercing shop for a tattoo. I got the monroe piercing on a whim after seeing someone walk into the shop with the piercing. It looked interesting so I decided to just go for it. I'm glad I did. It looks great. The piercing took a second to do; the needle was a bit on the large side, but it slipped right into my lip quickly. As far as pain, it wasn't excruciating; far from it. A sharp pinch and the unfamiliar feel of something foreign sitting on my lip. Only con is in terms of the working world. Having a visible piercing on your face may not go over well with a more conservative work environment.
