How to pass the AP exams
How I did it: I was only going for the World History exams, so it probably was easier than it should have been. I also had a really great teacher, who, for the last week before the test, hosted after school study sessions, focusing on particular regions and time periods each day.
Lessons & tips: For the test itself, the multiple guess portion was fairly straightforward, and was mostly just a matter of elimination. The three timed essays, however, were started by analyzing the topics and any info provided on the test booklet. From there, I did basic outlines for each one, and I did the one I knew the most about first, and gave it the most time. I did the second in a similar manner, with less time, but since I knew virtually nothing about the third, I strung a bunch of logical facts and ideas together and prayed for the best. Also, a word of advice? Do the conclusions last.
Resources: My History teacher, my textbook, notes, and a lot of dumb luck.
