"interesting"
How I did it: Went with my friend Bradlee and met up with Arty while there. We explored just about all the major spots in like 3 days.
Wriggley Ville and The Art Insititue = my favorite.
You need to dedicate a full day to the Art Institute tho! Don't let the front of the building fool you. IT'S HUGE!
We accidently stole knowldege by sneaking in to the Feild Museum. Brad kept saying "maybe it was a free day" on the way out we saw a sign that said 'THIS IS NOT A FREE DAY'
LOL ooops!
Sears tower is fun, but it took forever to get up there. An hour and a half! I think that may have had something to do with the fact that they just recently added the Sky Ledge where you can step into a Plexi-glass looking box and sort of stand over Chicago. look down 103 floors. I was wearing a dress... All of Chicago got a free show ;).
The pizza was as good as they say! Walked about a million miles! Ate Indian food for the first time ever...
The end!
Oh yeah Arty, Brad and I decided we should steal a plane and go to Vegas...haha fun times.
Lessons & tips: make sure to look up stuff about chicago transit before you go and get a day pass for the subways. Taking the cab short distances is ok.
BRING GOOD WALKING SHOES
The architecual tour is fun if you're interested in the origins of all the buildings, but if you just want to get a look at the buildings the water taxi to sears tower will suffice. It takes the same route up the river for -$14 and no one telling you about stuff.
You can easily spend a thousand dollars in alcohol...;p lol brad
