How I did it: I just asked around a lot, answered adverts etc. Some don't work out, but then some do. Don't take it too seriously - it's supposed to be fun. Get out there and do it.
It's very rewarding when you practise with the band and then perform -  - we had a mosh pit going!! Can't wait to start gigging again and I think I will always be in bands now.
