How to lose 40 pounds

How I did it: It took a long time for me to commit to working out regularly and cutting down my food portions, but once the weight started to come off, it was a huge motivating factor. It didn't happen over night, and mostly I would make small changes and hope they would stick.
Lessons & tips: Any amount of weight lost is progress, it won't all come off overnight.
