How to learn to make a great margarita
How I did it: Research recipes...they all are some form of tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. You can change it a bit with other citrus or fruit juices, but that's the basic recipe, adjusted depending on your taste for liquor.
Lessons & tips: Spend the money on a good mix or lime juice...the jose cuervo mix is good, but honestly, it's all high fructose corn syrup. Plus, your margaritas will taste just that much better and different when you use pure mix or real limes. Also, the triple sec can be cheap, but use good tequila. I prefer silver, but anything about jose cuervo bottom shelf is going to be an upgrade.
