How to get my Master's Degree
How I did it: I got good grades in my undergraduate institution and won a fellowship which paid for my tuition and living expenses in grad school. While I was a grad student, with the exception of the first semester, I was unemployed. It gave me more time to study and really absorb the material.
Lessons & tips: Try to talk to other students about the professors. I ended up in some classes that I didn't feel were worth my time. However, there were also some wonderful professors that I feel lucky to have known. I never found a resource at my school that published evaluations of the professors, and it didn't look like anyone was using ratemyprofessor or another similar website. I should have searched more so I maximized my time and took the best classes possible.
