How I did it: My Auntie and I attended our local gym and she spotted notices on the activities board.
Belly Dancing for Begginers.
She basically had to beg me to sign up, as there was no way I was going to make a complete tit of myself, since i'm not the most beautiful of people.
Walking in the room, there was everyone, from all walks of life. 16-60 year olds, 'hippies' and the well off type. Everyone just got on, and had a laugh.
At first it was hard work, and getting out of bed the next morning was, well, sore. But it makes you so much more confident, sexy and just more fit. It managed to pick the moves up quite well, concidering I have quite established hand-eye coordination, which can't really be said for my auntie bless her.
After four months, I was a novice and could go to 'shows'. I unfortunately stoped for a few weeks due to other commitments, and never really got back into it. Though it's so worth it.
