How to take more pictures
How I did it: So I love food (I'm a food scientist) and I love photography, organizing (scrapbooking). So naturally I decided to take a picture of every single thing I eat in one year's time. There are several more reasons for doing this crazy feat - I need to loose weight and this is a good way to stop snacking, I am stingy so when I pay for something I like to remember it, you can tell a lot about where you were and who you were with by your food and lastly why not?!
So I set out on January 1, 2009 and started taking a picture of everything I ate. I started to think - what about my drinks - so sometimes, not very consistently, I have taken pictures of my beverages. I mostly drink water, so soda is rare and I forget to take pictures of it. I've been fine tuning it over the year and I think my book will turn out awesome. I'm going to probably use snapfish or something to plop the pictures into a have them print it - it'll be cheaper than printing out all the pictures and scrapbooking them myself.
I'm pretty excited about how good I have been. I have lost a little weight, but not a ton (I don't have time for any extra exercise other than running around at work). I will go for a final weigh-in at the end of the year though.
I'm sorta odd to begin with, so this is just one more thing that waiters, my coworkers and boss, my friends and of course my husband have to deal with (especially my husband - I don't let him eat until I take a picture - he knows that is code for "I want a bite of that!").
I'll update at the end of the year when I complete this subgoal =)
