How I did it: After five years of teaching in the public school system I feel that I am finally comfortable enough to call myself a great teacher.  Hopefully I can stay that way! 

Remember, we all have our good days and our bad days, and we can't do it all, but we can be our absolute best!

I love my job.

Lessons & tips: Stay on top of current trends, give your kids a chance to be their best, treat everyone like an individual, recognize your own strengths and weaknesses, and always strive for better!

Oh, and try not to let it get you down.  Teaching is hard.  Loving it is easy.

Resources: Professional learning communities have been my mainstay.  Sharing resources and experiences (good and bad) have allowed me to organize my time more effectively, and also not feel like I'm the 'only one' going through an issue.
