How I did it: Just registered at linuxcounter (counter.li.org/). Now I use almost only linux, and I think it's good to know that I showed my interest in it somewhere. People have to know that it's being developed constantly and getting more and more mature. It won't replace Windows as a system for lazy people, but it's easier to have a weather forecast (plasma CWP), rss(plasma news), really usable sticky notes (Knotes), info about state of your computer's components (gkrellm) on your desktop in Linux than in Windows. And there's no notes app that would be better than kjots.
