How to discover some useful search tools for locating podcasts and videos.
How I did it: I don't remember when I first came across podcasts, but now I'm hooked. I listen to them while driving to and from work, my favourites and the BBC and ABC range of podcasts that cover news, politics, science, books, Big Ideas and the Breakfast Show.
To get started: I suggest use Google Reader to manage your subscriptions as it is available wherever you go. Setup a free account if you haven't already got one, then search for podcasts and subscribe to them into google reader. OR
Go to one of the following sites and subscribe to the podcast feeds of your choice by clicking on the orange feed button:
http://www.digitalpodcast.com/
http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/Podcasting/
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/podcasts/directory/genre/
Of course, any news site will have podcast feeds, and many science sites etc. I'm learning italian off podcasts from learnitalian.com.
Then download at your leisure, copy across to your mp3 player and listen away.
