How I did it: I applied for a job in hawaii to work on a cruise ship. The process took about 8 months, but it was worth it. I did not like the job. But I lived in hawaii and sailed the islands for almost 1 year. I made friends from all over the world and I felt at peace with myself being out in the ocean. It was a great place. I definitly want to go back and just visit, not work!! But I had a great time...Everyone should go at least once in their life.

Lessons & tips: It is very exspensive there and very laid back. If you are a party animal hit up waikiki in oahu. My favorite island was Kona, absolutly paradise.

Resources: Norweigan Cruise Line employed me and paid for everything. good opportunity, but hard work.
